I always wanted to try here for lunch, but it was closed and only open for dinner. One day I sat in my car for a while after shopping thinking what I should get for dinner. It finally dawned on me that I've been wanting to try Aloha Vietnamese Foods' Fried chicken wings. My work friend would raved how her and boyfriend just love their crispy fried chicken wings and they liked it the best so it definitely piqued my interest. Asked Jolene L. and her daughter when we were dining at Pho Dynasty where else had good pho and her daughter mentioned Aloha Vietnamese. Jolene L. also mentioned how she liked their Fried chicken wings and the Lemon beef salad too! So Fried Chicken Wings and the Lemon Beef Salad it is! When I've arrived and was waiting, I decided to get the grilled pork sandwich too! I planned to share with mom, since she loves Vietnamese sandwiches. I saw the boiled peanuts sign and I couldn't resist buying a bag too! The boiled peanuts were simple and it seems to had a little salt taste. It was on the softer side than what I'm use to and usually like it a little on the crunchier side. It was a good price. The grilled pork sandwich was good but the crusty bread may make it difficult to bite into. My mom ate it later so I suggested to microwave it a bit. I did love the fried chicken wings and beef salad . I must say, they were right. The chicken was really crispy and not too oily with a good taste. It came with a container of salt and pepper and it could be a very thin layer of butter underneath? Their beef salad was delicious! Aloha Vietnamese Foods is open only for take out and for dinner. I read its own by a husband and wife. Wife does there cooking in the back and husband mentioned to me that before covid his wife had a health issue and they started to open later and later and now only for dinner. The husband who helped me was working so hard taking phone orders and calling them back when it's ready. So grateful they are still open so we can still get their yummy fried chicken wings and beef salad! Just read Peter Y's review and now I want to try the Casserole Pot Pork Belly & Beef Stew! Thank you! Support a local!

GET THE FRIED CHICKEN WINGS! You won't regret it. Best wings I have ever tasted. It was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The flavor was on point and they include onions, lemon and containers of pepper and salt too. I have also tried their chicken curry with banh mi and that was delicious as well. Small mom and pop shop and I'm glad to support! It's currently only take-out, but no complaints about that. I usually just call in my order ahead of time (15-20+ min before) and it's usually always ready by the time I get there. I'd say this is my top Vietnamese restaurant!

This is my absolutely FAVORITE vietnamese restaurant. I was so heartbroken that this place turned into a takeout only restaurant (due to covid), however I will support here no matter what. The owners are the sweetest husband and wife ever. I have been coming here since I was a child and I am surprised every time I visit after a long time. It is not only me, he tries maintain a friendly relationship with all of his customers. The prices are extremely affordable and the food is delicious with great portioning. I think it is probably the most affordable vietnamese place I know. Support small businesses! Especially this one :D

Great small restaurant serves really terrific pho and other Vietnamese dishes. Small operation with wife doing most of the cooking and they are so friendly every time we see them.

This place has been my go-to pho spot since they had dine-in! They're now takeout only, but the food has stayed delicious. Prices aren't cheap but are fair for the portion and quality of food you get. Uncle who works there is always super nice. Food is not speedy but I just call a good 20-30 minutes ahead (they say if it'll be a long wait) and it's always fresh when I get there. The star of the show is the pho broth. It's SO savory and flavorful that I can finish the entire bowl without adding any sauces. Bc of that, I can't recall if they include them with the pho fixings, but there is a sign that says sriracha is available by request so make sure to ask. Again, a good size for the price, and they give a decent amount of bean sprouts, basil and a few jalapeno slices and lemons. The combination pho is my go to and always has a great amount of meat. I recently tried the oxtail and while it was tasty, it was a lot of work getting the last bits of meat off the bone...I'll stick to my combination lol. All the other dishes are also a good size and quality. The lemon beef salad is piled high and has plenty of rare beef along with all the fixings. Vermicelli dishes are also a good size and their bbq chicken is one of my favs, so tender and flavorful. Staples like the papaya salad, spring rolls and summer rolls are straightforward but stick to their good quality. The only catch is that their very nearby competitor has the best crack sauce I've ever had...iykyk. Aloha Vietnamese's crack sauce is mild, which some people might prefer. I think a crushed garlic clove and some chili would take it from a 8.2 to a 10/10. Oo, and their chicken wings are so underrated. They're fat, crispy and juicy and tossed in onions and butter. Definitely use the included lemon and seasoning salt.

Super friendly Vietnamese family serving up some flavorful Vietnamese food. The chicken curry is DELICIOUS! I especially love dipping toasted baguette in it. Their lemon beef salad is refreshingly tasty and oh-so flavorful. I love finishing it off with their tapioca desserts (banana or taro). Everything is efficiently packed for takeout. They are the kindest people and they stay open considerably late.

I've been searching far and wide for the best pho on the island, and I have to say that this is probably it! I first tried Aloha years ago when I first PCSed to the island and was living out of a Waikiki hotel. Now living closer in the area, I frequent this restaurant at least twice a month. I pretty much just always get the pho dac biet with an additional side of tendon. Large is pretty sufficient, but the xlarge portion is massive. If you get the pho tai, they give a LOT of rare sliced beef. The broth is super clear and fragrant. Another winner is their fried butter chicken wings. Wow. Wowowoeow is it delicious. It comes with a lemon wedge and salt and pepper to sprinkle on, which just makes the flavor pop. Comes with 7 wings, and is topped with tons of butter sautéed onions. Sometimes I'll get the banana tapioca dessert, which comes with little taro chunks - perfect amount of sweetness. The owners/staff are super friendly and provide great customer service. Note that it's takeout only, no longer serving in-house. Order usually take roughly 20 minutes, but may be longer during dinner rush. I also appreciate that everything is in eco-friendly packaging. Parking is shared among all the other nearby establishments, and can get packed. Highly recommend for takeout!!!

A must try restaurant! Aloha Vietnamese Food is a family own business that provides its customers with an array of food that is light, fresh, flavorful, and crisp-tasting for a reasonable price. Each bite you take, whether it's from a banh mi, lemon beef salad, pho, or even their porkchop and rice plate. The flavors are consistent and always taste fresh. Take out only. The average wait time for your food to be done would be 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how many items were ordered. Everything on their menu tastes great. I recommend the following items: *Fried chicken wings *lemon beef salad *Thai tea *Vietnamese coffee *combination banh mi *lemongrass chicken banh mi *spring rolls (made in-house) *house fried rice *caramelized Claypot catfish *combination plate *banana tapioca (made inhouse) Inside is clean and organized. Aunty and uncle are the nicest people. Service is good Payment Cash or credit Parking Private lot or street parking (free after 5pm)

I Heart Aloha Vietnamese Foods! What a lifesaver! I had just finished working First Friday, and I was hot, dirty, and hungry. I didn't want to sit down and eat, and Zippy's was not appealing but a big bowl of pho was what I really wanted. Yelp "late night bites" and Aloha came up. Tucked away in an unassuming spot, it's take out only, which is great! Ordered #19 brisket and sirloin, XL! and #3 summer rolls. Couldn't wait to get back to my hotel. Everything was soooooo good and hit the spot! I am so glad there's places like this open late for takeout! Mahalo!

My new favorite pho place. Per chance we just happened to visit place as we were yelping the dessert shop next door. We were hungry and decided to try the food due to the large number of high yelp reviews. First off..there is no in door dining. Order your food and wait 15 minutes outside. The owner is very friendly and nice. The inside of the shop is basic however the smell of the soup permeates the store. We ordered beef pho and crispy spring rolls. The beef pho was hearty. The soup unexplainably rich and tasty. The offering was ample. The meats and vegetables all in one dish was so filling! The spring rolls were crispy. There was more than enough for my little family. Will definitely return! Looking forward to our next trip!!!
